In celebration of Ascension Sunday in this season of Eastertide, James walks us through Jesus' returning to the Father and their reuniting. At the moment of farewell, Jesus sends out his followers to continue the work that they can't accomplish without Christ. Jesus does not only commission them, but promises his presence, his Name, and his prayer. In this, the disciples, and now we ourselves, are invited into greater clarity & focus, endurance, and connection as we await God the Father's ringing of the bells for our own reuniting with God.
